"We own and operate Dovetail Kitchens
and More in Winkler, Manitoba, Canada. We have only been in
operation since November 2004. As a new business in a building
boom town, we were looking for a program that could deliver
realistic 3D pictures to catch the customer's eye. As well as

"I have a small bespoke woodworking
company in Exeter, Devon, UK, called Justwood, as the name
implies, if it is made of wood, we will make it, from specialty
Joinery for old buildings, we have lots in this part of the
world, to modern Kitchens, Bathrooms etc.
The Kitchen/Bathroom side of the business has been growing in
the last few years and I was designing them using a conventional
CAD programme, which on average took four to five hours to do on
the PC, the results did help sell, but the time taken on the
drawing process and lack of flexibility was a drawback. I
finally decided to look for an `instant 3D drawing programme,
which I could use on a laptop, in the clients home, after
downloading several trials, I decided on DesignersMate. My
reason for choosing DesignersMate, was not solely based on cost,
the lowest cost programme tried was £50.00 the highest was
£3000.00!!, but on ease of use, value for money and most of all,
the final result. I am pleased to be able to report that in the
two months I have been using DesignersMate, it has paid for
itself three to four times over!
I found that the learning curve was for me, about 15 minutes, my
colleague who has no computer experience whatever, was able to
produce a drawing, after several false starts in an hour or so,
he is now able to draw in about ten minutes. I have had very few
problems with the programme which necessitated contacting
support, my average wait for a solution was 12 hours, bearing in
mind the time difference, 10 hours, I cannot fault the after
care received.
I would unhesitatingly recommend DesignersMate, for any company
who makes bespoke Kitchens and Bathrooms and is looking for a
very easy design programme.
